Showcasing Che' Art

Che' is an artist who specializes in oil and watercolor landscapes and still lifes. Her passion for art began in kindergarten when her teachers recognized her exceptional artistic skills while she was living in New Orleans. Che' started taking private art lessons at that early age and continued learning throughout her life. While attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she enrolled in art studio classes every semester.

In 1981, she moved to Richmond, Virginia, and currently resides in Manakin Sabot, Virginia. After retiring from her private dentistry practice in 2015, she focused on expanding her art studio. Now, she enjoys painting oil landscapes and still lifes whenever time allows, which is most days to some extent. Che' has received numerous international and national awards for her artwork. I enjoy traveling in my spare time and many of my pieces are directly influenced by these travels in nature. I love recreating plants and wildlife in my work. When I paint, I am visiting that place. A surreal experience.
